🎊 New feature : Text and Image block

In KAWA, new types of widgets are now available in the Add widget panel : Text block and Image block.

• Text block :

💡 Steps

1. When first added, the widget is in edit mode. You can type text and optionally, set the font size, bold, underlined etc… options and also text alignment, including bulleted and numbered lists.
2. Click on Save button to persist your changes.
3. Click on Edit icon to modify your text.

• Image block :

💡 Steps

1. When first added, the widget is in edit mode. You can click on Browse files button to import any image.
2. The image fills the entire block container and you can resize it as needed.
3. In the option menu, click on replace image, to select another image.

🎊 New feature : Presentation

Tired of copy pasting your updated charts before each meeting from your BI tool to your presentations ? With KAWA, easily create presentations direclty based on your real charts, instead of screenshots. Data is refreshed automatically or on demand and all your charts and dashboards features such as filtering are available.

💡 Steps

• From the Insights section, click on Create new button, then on Presentation.
• A first empty slide appears, and the Add widgets panel is opened. You can add widgets from your dashboards and your sheets. You can also add Text and image blocks.
• Click on Present button to start presenting
• All your views and dashboards features are available :
• You can edit any widget by clicking on Edit icon that appears on over of the widget.
• You can filter the widgets of your presentation the same way as in the dashboards. The filters are applied to all the slides.
• Cross filtering feature is also available.

🎊 New feature : Chart break down

In KAWA you can now break down your data in all your charts views and widgets to get an in-depth view of a selected value.

💡 Steps

• Right-click on the item in the chart into which you want to apply the breakdown.
• Select the column to use for the breakdown in the list. Only Text, Date and Integer columns can be selected.
• You can apply multiple breakdowns on the same chart.
• To break up to a higher level, click on the breadcrumb. To break all the way up, click on the X icon.

💪 Huge improvement : New computation engin

We have been working hard on improving our Computation engin during the last months, and are very proud to announce its release. The main improvements are the following :

• Big code refactoring to allow a better investigation, and an easier implementations of new feature.
• Higher performance.
• Level of detail handling : for more details, please contact the support team. A full documentation of this feature is under construction.
