Creating Access Table
An Access Table is a data source table that maps users or teams to the items that they're entitled to see. To add an access table:
- Go to the Data section and click on the +Data source button.
- Select Access Table.
- Import your access table file.
When saving an Access Table data source, you need to map how the Current user is identified to a column in your access table. You could also use other perimeters (such as team name) if you wanted to do it on a group level:
Creating row level security rules
In your Data source section, select the data source you want to create rules for.
- Step 1: Open Row security
- Step 2: Click on + Create rule button
- Step 3: In the panel, select an access table from your existing list and the data source to secure. Then, map two elements from the tables.
