This release brings a lot of bug fixes and UI improvements.

1) Main Features

1.a) Fixed aggregation columns: partition configuration panel

When creating fixed aggregation columns via drag-and-drop within the grid, you now have the flexibility to select multiple columns for the partition.

Indeed, the drag and drop action opens a dialog providing options to specify the partition, choose the desired aggregation method, and determine whether the newly created column should synchronize with the view filters.

Notably, the dialog is smartly prepopulated based on the columns engaged in the initial drag-and-drop operation.

1.b) Fixed aggregation columns: Synchronize with main view filters

When creating a fixed aggregation column, it’s now possible to synchronize the filters from the main view with the filters of the fixed aggregation column.

To do so: Open the fixed aggregation column edition panel and click on the toggle in Filters: 👇🏼

1.c) Big Query: Query-cost control

Query-cost control feature allows to empower users to manage and optimize costs associated with Big Query data warehouse interactions. It provides users with warnings and validation options before executing computations when the query cost surpasses a certain threshold.

1. Data source creation/editing:
1. Toggle for Cost Query Check: Users can now enable a cost query check during the creation of a Big Query data source

2. Editable Setting: Users can edit the cost query check setting post data source creation.

2. View level:When a computation surpasses the set threshold, a validation message is displayed

3. Dashboard level:For each widget, when a computation surpasses the set threshold, a validation message is displayed within the widget

2) Improvements

2.a) Linking: Drilldown in grid

Hover over any cell from a Lookup formula or a fixed aggregation column and click on the + icon to open its Drilldown in the bottom view of your grid.

2.b) UX: Tip toasters for easier user onboarding

Multiple Tip toasters will appear to guide you through your KAWA onboarding.
